Business Expo Workshop Series focuses on E-commerce and Trade Show Tips

Businesses signed up for the 2012 Business Expo by Thursday will be able to attend one of two workshops free.

The Expo will will take place 4-8 p.m. March 30 at Harrah’s Convention Center.

The Expo Prep Workshop is free to any business signed up by Thursday to exhibit at the Expo. It will take place at 10 a.m. March 7 in the TahoeChamber Conference Room, 169 U.S. Highway 50, Stateline. The workshop will be $15 after March 1 or $20 for non-chamber members.

TahoeChamber Membership Services Director Shannon McIsaac will go over the best practices of working a tradeshow booth and how to “get connected” at Expo.

The second workshop in the Expo series will be offeredto those businesses that are interested in Finding the “Easy” in “Ecommerce.” It will take place 2-4 p.m. March 30 inside Harrah’s Convention Center.

Guest speakers Anthony Howard, owner of Howard SEM Group, and Gene Romagna, consultant for Northern California’s Small Business Development Center will introduce retailers to the world of e-commerce and help them best navigate the possibilities.

TThe workshop is $20 or $30 for non-chamber members and will include entry to the Business Expo.
