Celebrate yoga day for free

Mountain Yoga will celebrate a Community Yoga Day March 2 with two free yoga classes suitable for beginning students. One will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the other from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Questions will be answered following each class. Donations will be accepted and all proceed will go to the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe.

Yoga has become a mainstream remedy for stress, physical injuries and chronic pain. If people are fit, it keeps them fit. If not, Yoga can turn their path to a sound mind and healthy body. Anyone who is curious about what Yoga can do for them, Community Yoga Day will offer an opportunity to find out.

Mountain Yoga is located at 3330 Lake Tahoe Blvd., in the Lakeview Plaza behind Freshies. To reserve a space and for more information call (530) 543-1400.
