Celeste Marcella Tapper

Memorial services will take place in late spring for Celeste Marcella Tapper, who died in a car accident with a semi-truck Sept. 8, 2005, in Wyoming. She was 32.

Celeste was born March 22, 1973, in Hyannis, Mass. She lived in South Lake Tahoe until the age of 21 and attended Bijou Elementary, South Tahoe Middle and South Tahoe High schools. She had her own business, Colorado State Drywall, in Greeley, Colo. Celeste liked to snowboard, rock climb, camp, fish and Jet Ski. Her 10-month-old daughter, Madison E. Tapper, was the love of her live.

She is survived by her daughter, Madison E. Tapper of Greeley; mother, Edith Serafin of Greeley; father, Robert Tapper of Denver, Colo.; grandmother, Josephine Serafin of Chula Vista, Calif.; aunt, Debbie Cassiero, and cousin, Britani, both of French Gulf, Calif.

A memorial service will take place in late spring at the Children’s Memorial Log in South Lake Tahoe.
