Chabad to begin Friday Night Live

The Chabad Jewish Center of Lake Tahoe will launch its new monthly Friday Night Live tonight.

Guests “will experience a combination of a joyful, meaningful and upbeat Kabbalat Shabbat Service followed by a Shabbat Dinner,” Rabbi Mordey Richler stated in a press release. “The melodious tunes of the traditional but contemporary Kabbalat Shabbat combined with the tastes of the delicacies of Shabbat will leave you energized, uplifted and ready to take on a new week.”

A candle lighting will take place at 5:18 p.m., followed by the service at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6 p.m. at the Chabad Jewish Center of Lake Tahoe.
