Chamber open house set for Friday

Tis the season for the business of Christmas – cocoa, cookies, singing and Santa Claus, that is.

So Friday evening, the South Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce wants to share its vision of the holiday – Norman Rockwell style. It’s hosting an open house, complete with refreshments, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The lighting of the tree and Menorah is slated for about 5:30 p.m. to the sounds of a choral Christmas. That’s Santa’s clue to pull in on the Borges sleigh, ready to take wish lists from the children and perhaps the big kids at heart.
