Chamber to seat its new directors

The Tahoe Douglas Chamber of Commerce will install its board of directors for 2005-06 on April 21 at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe convention center. The festivities will begin with cocktails at 6:30 p.m., followed by dining from 7 to 8 p.m. and installation at 8 p.m.

Larry Friedman of the Nevada Commission of Tourism will be the master of ceremonies for the event that will include special awards and entertainment by The Andrews Sisters.

The cost of $45 per person includes dinner, unlimited wine and favors. Reservations should be confirmed by close of business April 19. To make a reservation or for more information call the chamber at (775) 588-4591.



Officers to be installed are Andrew Strain of Heavenly Mountain Resort, president; Sue Lowe of Chase International, president-elect; Phil Weidinger of Weidinger Public Relations, vice president; Thom McAleer of Lake Tahoe Cruises/Zephyr Cove Resort, treasurer; and Dan Garrison of Resorts West/Ridge Tahoe, immediate past president.
