Child Abuse Prevention Council seeks applicants

The El Dorado County Child Abuse Prevention Council is accepting applications for board membership for three vacancies serving at the discretion of the Board of Supervisors.

One vacancy is open to a Community Organization Representative; Schools; Prevention & Treatment Service Providers. Two vacancies are open to a Parent or Primary Caregiver Representative, both will assist in planning child abuse prevention activities.

The 15-member council is a legislatively mandated body advising the Board of Supervisors. The council provides input on research, analysis and makes recommendations to the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors.



Applicants must submit an application to Elizabeth Blakemore, M.Ed, Coordinator, El Dorado County Child Abuse Prevention Council, 6767 Green Valley Road, Placerville, CA 95667. Prospective candidates can call 530-295-2312 or email: eblakemore@edcoe.org for an application packet and additional information. The deadline for applications is Nov. 19 at 5 p.m.
