The children at the Lake Tahoe Children’s Development Center presented a holiday show for their families called “Winter Night 2007.” They put the show on to let their parents know how much they appreciate everything they do for them all year.

The children sang and danced to “Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer” and “Jingle Bell Rock.” They also performed a play called “Help! The Polar Bears are Drowning,” which talks about how we should care for our planet. The play was written by teacher Xochitl Alfaro. The children and Liset Alamillo worked very hard to put the show together.

The children also conducted a canned food drive for Christmas Cheer to help out families in the community.

The Lake Tahoe Child Development Center is open from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. seven days a week. The center offers opportunities for challenges and success in the curriculum. The staff promotes appreciation of diversity with all the families.
