Celebrating its 10th year in existence, the locally renown Tahoe Elementary Honor Choir will perform in the annual Caesars Holiday Extravaganza tonight and Friday. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and the program begins at 7 p.m. both days on stage at Caesars Tahoe Circus Maximus showroom. The choir is directed by Paul Kushner and William Days. Tickets are $7 general admission and $4 for students and seniors, while children under 5 are free. The choir, while also marking its seventh year at Caesars, will be joined by the South Tahoe Middle School Honor Choir, South Tahoe High School combined and advanced choirs, St. Theresa Hand Bell Choir and the Robinson Violin Orchestra. For the grand finale, there will be more than 300 performers on stage. The award-winning Blue Ribbon Classical Choir will make a special guest appearance in the show. Having taken first place as the top women’s chorus on the west coast in their age bracket for two consecutive years, the Blue Ribbon Classical Choir features 16 girls whose combined experience boasts more than 700 concerts. They perform all over Northern California and Nevada.
