Christmas trees to be recycled curbside this week

South Tahoe Refuse will recycle Christmas trees through Friday on regular collection days.

Trees will be chipped and used for revegetation and composting.

Residents are asked remove all decorations and nails and cut the trees into six-foot segments. Flocked trees will not be accepted.
