Citing SoCal wildfires, Blue Ribbon commission cancels November meeting

Citing the wildfires in Southern California, the November meeting of the California-Nevada Tahoe Basin Fire Commission, created by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Nevada Gov. Jim Gibbons following June’s Angora fire, has been canceled.

The meeting and subsequent committee meetings were scheduled for Nov. 8-9 and were to be held in Incline Village. The meetings may be rescheduled if time permits, said co-chairs Sig Rogich and Kate Dargan.
