SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — South Lake Tahoe will host a community forum next week to discuss regulations for a cell tower ordinance.

The city is asking for residents to offer ideas and help in drafting a set of rules for city-wide telecommunication facility regulations.

“Our goal is to listen to the community and hear the various perspectives to allow us to craft a responsive, well-thought-out set of regulations,” said Kevin Fabino, development services director, in a press release.

The meeting will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at the recreation center located at 1180 Rufus Allen Blvd.

The meeting will start with a short discussion on the current regulatory environment and then people will be broken up into smaller groups to discuss possible regulatory themes for telecommunication facility regulation.

For more information, call Fabino at 530-542-6025 or email to kfabino@cityofslt.us.
