The City of South Lake Tahoe Parks and Recreation Department announces savings for teens at the ice arena and swimming pool starting Monday and continuing through August 27.

For Lake Tahoe Unified School District students grade five to 10, a rec center summer pass is $25, an ice arena summer pass is $35 and a combined pass for both facilities this summer is $35.

The rec center pass gives Monday to Friday entry to the pool from 1:30-4 p.m.; the gym at posted times, the playground and picnic area, and indoor games including foosball.

The ice arena pass gives weekday entry to public skate 1:30-3:30 p.m. including skate rentals, video games (fees apply), wireless Internet and a 10 percent discount for snack bar and concessions.
