City offers swim lessons

Sign ups are going on for fall swim lessons at the South Lake Tahoe Parks & Recreation Swim Pool Complex. There are a variety of classes, times and dates available.

Drop-in Adult & Me is for tots 5 years and younger. Children must have an adult in the water with them and children who are not potty trained must wear plastic pants over a diaper. The cost is $5 for child and parent per day. Drop-in times are from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Monday and Wednesday.

The next session of small group lessons for youths 3 to 13 will begin Nov. 13 for the early afternoon and Nov. 19 for evening lessons. The cost is $31 for either eight-class session.



Private swim lessons are ongoing for all ages and abilities. The cost is $20 per half hour. Check out times and instructors’ availability at the Recreation Complex.
