At Tuesday’s City Council Meeting, the City of South Lake Tahoe awarded On Course Events with a five-year contract for the Live at Lakeview Summer Music Series.

As a Signature City Event Series, Live at Lakeview was awarded money and in-kind sponsorships to help the series remain viable. The multi-year contract includes waiving venue rental fees of $6,500 per season in addition to the $30,000-plus in-kind services from parks, streets, and public safety personnel. The city will also support the Thursday night concert series with a monetary sponsorship of $5,000 for the first year, and $2,500 per season for the remainder of the contract.

The lineup for South Lake Tahoe’s summer event will be released in June with the first concert of the series on June 25. On Course Events is seeking sponsors, vendors and volunteers to support the series.
