Clifton Memorial golf tourney held on Tuesday

The third annual Lester Clifton Memorial Golf Tournament will take place Sept. 18 at the Tahoe Paradise Golf Course in Meyers. Sponsored by South Lake Tahoe Optimist Club and Tahoe Paradise Golf Course the event includes a nine-hole twilight tournament and dinner. The format is a four-person scramble and singles will be paired. It is limited to the first 52 paid golfers.

Check-in is from 4 to 4:45 p.m. with a 5 p.m. shotgun start. The cost of $35 per golfer includes 9-hole green fees, cart, closest to the hole prizes, barbecue dinner and awards. All proceeds will support youth golf instructional programs.
