Club Live kids film commercial

During the summer of 2002, the California State Friday Night Live office made a casting call for a proposed public service commercial to be filmed in Sacramento. The commercial, which focuses on student leadership, will be aired throughout the state of California during the current school year.

Ten current and former South Tahoe Middle School Club Live members applied for the commercial and all of them were accepted. The 30-second public service announcement, which was was filmed Sept. 14, features 25 high school and middle school students from throughout California. Selected for the commercial were Ashley Bennett, Delaney Sabac, Audrey Roqueza, Kate Lambdin, Darius Guerrero, Samantha Barksdale and Kyra DeSilva, all students at South Tahoe Middle School, and Christy Cotcher, Rogelio Garcia and Anna Lambdin of South Tahoe High School.
