The Lake Tahoe Community College Theatre Arts Department will present the smash-hit musical “Pippin” this June. Hirson, the Tony Award-winning show takes over the LTCC Duke Theatre stage from June 12 through June 20.

This high-energy, award-winning musical follows the story of Pippin, a young prince who longs to find passion and adventure in his quest to live an extraordinary life. Pippin is encouraged by the seductive, yet sinister, Leading Player and a mysterious troupe of performers who lure the naïve prince along a death-defying journey to the final “One Perfect Act.”

Performances take place at 8 p.m. June 12 and 13 and June 18-20.

There will be a Sunday matinee on June 14 and a Saturday matinee on June 20. Both matinees are at 2 p.m.

Tickets cost $15 for general admission and $12 for seniors, groups of eight or more, students with a valid school identification and children younger than 13. Advance tickets may be purchased in advance at the LTCC Bookstore. The Duke Theatre Box Office will be open for ticket sales one hour prior to all performances.
