Dan Thrift/Tahoe Daily Tribune/ An accident on Al Tahoe Boulevard at the entrance to the main post office on Thursday morning sent the driver of the vehicle on the right to the hospital.

A T-bone collision Thursday morning with a Jeep Cherokee put a Toyota Tacoma on its passenger side and sent an unidentified woman to Barton Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

The two-vehicle accident occurred when the Toyota pulled out of Albertsons Supermarket parking lot while the Jeep was eastbound on Al Tahoe Boulevard.

A child was in the accident but uninjured, said South Lake Tahoe fire Capt. John Hartzell.

Antifreeze and oil seeped onto the road and the scene was cleared of debris at 9:40 a.m. The area was near an entrance to South Tahoe Middle School and Lake Tahoe Unified School District’s bus garage. Some students said they saw a woman kick out a window of the Toyota and crawl out.
