Comedian Christopher Titus at MontBleu Lake Tahoe
Stateline will be the site of laughter Thursday, Sept. 13, when comedian Christopher Titus takes the stage at MontBleu Resort Casino and Spa.
The established comedian boasts seven 90-minute albums in seven years. He describes his comedy as “hard funny.”
“He has six one-hour comedy specials currently running on Comedy Central, and his seventh special, ‘Born With a Defect,’ spent four weeks on the Billboard Top Ten Comedy Chart,” states Titus’ online bio. “After years of experimentation with dark and personal storytelling, he debuted his one-man show ‘Norman Rockwell is Bleeding’ at the Hudson Theater in Los Angeles. It was from this performance that the dark comedy, ‘Titus,’ was born on Fox. The show earned Titus a Writer’s Guild nomination as well as an Emmy nomination, and Newsday called him ‘TV’s most original voice since Seinfeld.’”
“After watching Christopher Titus perform live, there is no doubt that he is one of the best comics working today,” the bio continues. “With the complete package of comedy, acting and writing, there hasn’t been a performer like him in a long time.”
Titus brings his “Amerigeddon” show to Stateline on Thursday, Sept. 13.
He takes the stage at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $25 plus taxes/fees.
MontBleu Resort and Casino is located at 55 U.S. 50 in Stateline, Nevada.
