If you’re looking for a laugh, search no further than Tahoe’s South Shore: On Saturday, April 29, a Hollywood front-runner takes on Stateline.

“Joel McHale is one of the most sought-after comedians and actors in the industry,” states the performer’s online biography.

While McHale recently released his book “Thanks for the Money: How to Use My Life Story to Become the Best Joel McHale You Can Be,” the comedian is largely known for his role on E!’s “The Soup,” which he hosted for 12 seasons.

“He is also best known for his starring role on the hit comedy series ‘Community,’ which wrapped its sixth season on Yahoo after five seasons on NBC. McHale can most recently be seen on Fox’s revival of ‘The X-Files,’ where he plays a conservative news anchor,” continues the bio.

But the credits don’t stop there. McHale starred alongside Robin Williams in “A Merry Friggin’ Christmas” and appeared in “Deliver Us From Evil,” “Blended,” “TED” and “Spy Kids: All The Time in The World.”

Catch the comedian at 8 p.m. at MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa.

Tickets are available for $35 and $45, plus tax and fees, online via Ticketmaster.

Additional information about the gig can be found at http://www.montbleuresort.com, and the venue is located at 55 U.S. 50 in Stateline.

Interact with McHale on social media channels including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter (all with the handle @joelmchale), and be sure to check out his website, http://www.joelmchale.com, for more.
