Hard Rock Hotel & Casino held its first-ever Comedy Cage Match on Memorial Day weekend, and if you weren’t able to attend, you’re in luck: The winners return to the stage on Saturday, Aug. 5.

“The 1st Annual Comedy Cage Match held Memorial Day resulted in amazing comedians battling for top honors. Susan Jones, winner of The Inaugural Comedy Cage Match, returns with special guest Benjie Wright,” states the venue’s website.

Jones has also notched wins at Jack FM and Snoqualmie Casino’s Funniest Comedian in Washington contest and Club Casino’s Jokers Run Funniest Comedian contest.

“Susan Jones brings her 20 years of comedy and radio experience to the stage with some seriously funny girl talk. Larger than life, Susan uses her attitude and experiences with size acceptance and being a single mom to deliver consistently funny, crowd-pleasing performances,” states the comedian’s online biography.

Wright, an Alabama native, was named the state’s Radio Personality of the Year in 2007 and also performed at Atlanta’s Laughing Skull Comedy Festival and Birmingham’s Stardome Comedy Series.

His stand-up comedy can also be seen on Funny or Die and Comcast on Demand.

Tickets for the 8:30 p.m. show are $20 and include one free drink. Guests must be at least 21 years of age.
