Community Christmas Day meal and celebration to be held at St. Theresa

Vicki Gonzales / Special to the Tribune

If you have no special plans for a festive Christmas celebration, join us at St. Theresa Catholic Church Parish Hall for a holiday meal, done up in the Italian tradition, beginning at 3 p.m. on Christmas Day. The meal promises to be delicious, and there will be several special desserts.

We extend a special invitation to Angora fire survivors. If your usual Christmas traditions went up in smoke, come celebrate Christmas with all of us. If this year is anything like last year’s celebration at St. Theresa, it will be fun for the whole family. We’ll sing, visit, decorate the tree, make crafts, play games, and we might just have a visit from that special someone clad in red with a long, white beard.

If you would like to be a part of the volunteer team, we welcome your time and talent. Volunteers will decorate the hall on Sunday beginning around 1 p.m. Pop in and join the fun. On Christmas Day, volunteers are needed to wrap gifts, welcome guests, serve, entertain and clean up, to name just a few tasks.

If you would like to contribute to this free gala, call Sue Davis at (530) 544-4788. Gifts for all ages are needed to stock Santa’s bag. Holiday food items are appreciated, as well.

Merry Christmas to all from St. Theresa Catholic Parish. Please RSVP if you can by calling Vicki Gonzales at (530) 544-0557. The more the merrier: No one will be turned away.
