Contributions are needed for cancer treatment

Jamie Greenough

The community of Lake Tahoe is synonymous with love and generosity. Teri Allmeroth, longtime teacher and friend, was recently diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.

Many have asked how they can help. We can best help the Allmeroths at this time by raising funds to help with her medical treatment.

While her spirits remain high, it has become evident this will be a long and costly process. There are many expenses not covered through insurance.

Together, Eric and Teri Allmeroth have journeyed into the minds of many, sharing their love of knowledge. The Allmeroths have taught at Sierra Nevada College, Lake Tahoe Community College and collectively have 30 years in the Lake Tahoe Unified School District. They have given generously to their friends and community.

With your help and her loving family she can continue to move forward in fighting her cancer.

If you would like to contribute, make checks out to “The Teri Allmeroth Benefit Fund” and deposit in Bank of the West account No.186.138509 or mail to Jamie Greenough, 1735 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150.

Checks may also be dropped off at the following schools: South Tahoe High School, Kathy Humphreys; South Tahoe Middle School, Judy Klingeler; Tahoe Valley, Nancy White; Sierra House, Jim Watson; Bijou, Cindy Gibson; Magnet School, Monique Truszewski.
