Cooler today, then a gradual warm-up through the weekend
A weak, dry cold front will bring cooler temperatures to the Basin today, as winds shift to a northeast direction.
High temperatures are expected to top out in the mid to upper 50s around the Basin, which is close to the seasonal norm for late October. NIghts will remain chilly with readings in the lower to mid 20s.
High pressure rebuilds over the area this weekend, with a weak upper low drifting well off the California coast. Keep an eye on this offshore low, because it may come back to visit us around Wednesday of next week.
Meanwhile, enjoy a sunny and mild weekend, with highs creeping back into the 60s and light east winds.
