El Dorado County Animal Control is looking for the owner of a dog that bit a South Lake Tahoe woman last week.

The bite occurred in the meadow area behind Lake Tahoe Community College about 5 p.m. Jan. 22. The dog, described as a black and gray Husky mix, was with its owner who also had a second dog, described as white with brown spots. The owner is aware of the incident and is asked to come forward so the bite victim can avoid the possibility of post exposure rabies treatment. If you are the owner of this dog or have information regarding this incident, call animal control at (530) 577-1766.
