Corrections- Mocosko; broken water main

In the June 19 story “One pot charge dropped for provider,” the Tribune incorrectly stated that El Dorado County prosecutors said it was more likely that Matt Macosko would receive local probation if convicted of drug charges because of his record as a medical marijuana provider. Prosecutors said he would likely receive probation due to his lack of a prior criminal record. Assistant District Attorney Hans Uthe said it is the DA’s position that Macosko is not a legitimate medical marijuana distributor.

A June 20 story “Broken water main suspected source of spill” misidentified the property on which the water line burst. The incident occurred on land owned by the Tahoe Keys Beach and Harbor Association.
