Corvettes come to Tahoe

The Lake Tahoe Corvette Club will sponsor it fourth annual “Corvettes at the Lake Car Show” on Saturday at the Horizon Resort Casino. Admission is free.

The show will display 250 Corvettes of various years, models and colors, and the cars will be at the Horizon Friday evening and Saturday. The best time to view all the cars will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday during the Show and Shine competition.

On Saturday, music will be provided by a local DJ, and people will have a chance to win a 1994 Corvette in a charity raffle sponsored by Soroptimist International of Truckee. Vendors will be on hand.

The Lake Tahoe Corvette Club is made up of members from Lake Tahoe and Carson City. They are a nonprofit club with year-end proceeds being divided between local charities in North and South Lake Tahoe as well as the Carson Valley.
