Council for disabled to recognize community members on Monday

Provided to the Tribune

The Tahoe Area Coordinating Council for the Disabled (TACCD) will be holding its annual recognition luncheon at Lake Tahoe Community College’s Creekside Room from noon to 1 p.m. Monday.

At this event, TACCD will be recognizing individuals and businesses that have made a difference in the lives of local residents with disabilities. Individuals will be given “Distinguished Champion of the Disabled” recognition. In addition, this year, for the first time, TACCD will be honoring a local humanitarian who has benefited the entire community.

This year’s luncheon will be hosted and sponsored by Area Transit Management.
