Council to hold special meeting on Tuesday

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The South Lake Tahoe City Council will hold a special meeting starting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday at Lake Tahoe Airport.

Much of the meeting will be held in closed session to discuss existing or anticipated legal cases involving the city, including bankruptcy proceedings surrounding the stalled convention center and condominium project near the state line, former transit operator MV Transportation’s suit against members of South Tahoe Area Transit Authority and former transit administrator John Andoh’s suit against the South Lake Tahoe Police Department.

Several consent agenda items will also be held in open session. The items will only be discussed if a councilmember or person from the public makes a request.
