Darcie Anna Park and Lawrence Mark Bissonnette exchanged wedding vows Aug. 21 in the Valhalla Grand Hall at the Tallac Historic Site. The double-ring, 2 p.m. ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Elizabeth Tattersall and witnessed by 65 family members and friends.

The bride is the daughter of John and Nicole Park of Long Beach, Calif., and Stateline, Nev., and the granddaughter of Tom and Bonnie Woizeski of Stateline. The bridegroom’s parents are Marie Elizabeth Bissonnette of Sagamore Beach, Mass., and the late Lawrence B. Bissonnette.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory satin, strapless Jessica McClintock gown with mermaid styling and a short train accented with mocha-colored bows. She wore a shoulder-length veil and carried a cascading bouquet of white calla lilies, red roses and sprays of white orchids with cream-colored ribbons.

Matron of honor was the bride’s cousin, Melia Wallin of Long Beach, and bridesmaid was Lisa Herzog of Tustin, Calif. Each attendant wore a red, tea-length strapless dress with a cream bow at the waist and carried a hand-tied bouquet of calla lilies, rose, orchids and fern tied with red ribbon.

Best man was Bill Dippel of Saratoga, Calif., and groomsmen were Matt Hanzl of East Lebanon, Maine, and Kurt Mustonen of Marshfield, Mass., who also played the cello for the ceremony.

Immediately following the nuptials, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at Valhalla, catered by Celtic Catering. The newlyweds sailed away on their sailboat after the wedding and reception and spent the night anchored in Emerald Bay. The bride was still wearing her wedding dress and the bridegroom was in his tuxedo.
