CPR class offered at rec center in October

The city of South Lake Tahoe is offering a basic life support CPR/AED class from 5:50-9 p.m. Oct. 11.

Cost is $50 for the class. Fee includes manual.

This course is geared for the general public and covers CPR for adults, children and infants; AED use; resuscitation masks; and how to help someone who is choking. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a two-year certificate.
