South Lake Tahoe police are searching for a man suspected of robbing U.S. Gasoline the evening of Saturday, June 11.
Around 5:05 p.m., the man walked into the gas station on the 2400 block of Lake Tahoe Boulevard, pointed a small gun at the clerk and demanded money, said Lt. Brian Williams. The clerk gave the man the money and the suspect then fled the store on foot.
The suspect is described as a white man who between 6-feet-1 and 6-feet-2 inches tall, between 33 and 36 years old, weighing between 180 and 200 pounds and having light-colored hair. He was wearing a white, long-sleeved shirt; off-white pants; sunglasses and a gray knit cap at the time of the robbery. He also had his right arm in a sling and had a large pimple on his right cheek, Williams said.
Police ask anyone who may have information about the incident to call the South Lake Tahoe Police Department at 530-542-6100 or, to remain anonymous, Lake Tahoe Secret Witness at 530-541-6800.
