CrossFit grand opening at South Lake Tahoe

South Lake Tahoe has a new gym in town: CrossFit.

Tim Anderson, Tom Muldenhauer and Weldon Wulstein have partnered to open it, and have scheduled a grand opening at noon Saturday.

At the celebration, certified trainers will demonstrate the types of workouts the gym will offer, such as push-ups, pull-ups, rope-climbing and box jumps as well as Olympic-style barbell exercises. Different combinations of these exercises create a functional workout that is never boring or repetitious, they said.

The gym is at 1611 Shop St., near South Tahoe High School. Classes are being scheduled, so for more information, call (530) 541-2341, or see http://www.southtahoecrossfit. com.
