Stella Van Dyke Johnson American Legion Post 795 of South Lake Tahoe will present a memorial service at 11 a.m. Nov. 11 in remembrance of Veterans Day. The service will take place in the American Legion parking lot, 2748 Lake Tahoe Blvd. In case of inclement weather, the event will be inside the American Legion Hall.
Cake and coffee will be served to the public following the service in the American Legion Hall.

American Legion Post 795 will present Monday Night Football beginning at 4 p.m. Nov. 12 at 2748 Lake Tahoe Blvd. The public is welcome.
The evening will include watching football on three TV screens, a no-host bar and a hot dog or chili dog and chips for $2. For more information, call the American Legion at (530) 541-8788.
