Dale Garver Sr.

Services are pending for Dale Jay Garver Sr., 84, who passed away Sept. 14, 2006, at Carson Tahoe Medical Center.

He was born in Mansfield Wash., on Feb. 17, 1922. He joined the Air Force in 1940 and retired 26 years later as a chief warrant officer. He moved to South Lake Tahoe in 1977 and was employed by Western Title. He loved South Lake Tahoe, golf, bridge, puzzles and animals. He was a loving husband and father.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joan; sister, Ruth McIver of Atwater, Calif.; sons, David and Martin Garver; grandchildren, Kelly Jensen, Bernard Garver, Sommer Robinson, Stephen Garver, Michael Garver and Chris Garver; and great-grandchildren, Tyler, Josh and Elijah.



He was preceded in death by his son Dale Garver Jr. in May of 2006.

Dale loved animals and in lieu of flowers, his wish was donations be made in his name to Lake Tahoe Humane Society, P.O. Box PET South Lake Tahoe, CA 96158.
