The 17-piece Tahoe Dance Band provides the opportunity to dance at least once a month at South Lake Tahoe. The band features professional and talented musicians who play everyone’s favorite pieces.

The dances take place from 8 to 10:30 p.m. the last Friday of each month at the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center, 3050 Lake Tahoe Blvd. Although they take place at the Senior Center, the dances are open to everyone. They are not just for senior citizens. The next dance is scheduled April 30. It is not necessary to have a partner.

Admission is $6 per person and includes refreshments and a chance to win a door prize and raffle prizes. The dances provide an opportunity listen to good music, dance, socialize and meet new people. It’s good exercise and fun.
