Dancer to perform at potluck

Dancer Carol Galbraith will perform at the June 8 potluck with entertainment at the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center.

Galbraith has taught dancing and done choreography in her own studio for 36 years. She has performed at the Santa Rosa Nutcracker Dancer Theater, with a Japanese dance troupe, at the Santa Clara County Fair and other venues. She recently taught an adult class called Xerdance at Kahle Community Center. During the potluck, she will perform a ballet to “Gaity Parisienne” by Ofrfenbach and a tap dance to “Sidewalks of New York” and will teach a country line dance to “Mama Maria” and a scarf dance to “Enya & Winter Came.”

The potluck will begin at 5:30 p.m. Attendees are asked to bring their own plate and utensils. Roast leg of lamb and chicken will be provided by Arline and Don. Attendees are asked to bring a salad, side dish or dessert for six to eight people. Those who plan to attend are asked to RSVP to Arline at 530-545-1277 or email her at arlinejune@yahoo.com to help ensure that a variety of dishes will be offered at the event.



The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. Members of South Lake Tahoe Senior Citizens Inc. who attend the potluck will be eligible to win a $25 door prize. Guests are welcome and everyone will be eligible to win cash raffle prizes.
