As Dance Visions prepares for the summer national competition in Las Vegas, dancers are practicing plenty of routines that have scored well throughout the season.

“Heart Burn” is a jazz partnering dance that was chosen as one of eight dances to compete for the title of Junior Entertainment Challenge Champion at IDC. Raquell Alvarez choreographed the dance, and the group was cheered on by the entire dance team at a packed auditorium in Hayward.

The duo of Dino Elias and Riana Cerceo were chosen for “Money” for the Senior Challenge.
