Daniel Tinlin collects two more saves for Wolf Pack

Daniel Tinlin picked up two more saves for the Nevada baseball team over the weekend.

The former South Tahoe High pitcher preserved the Pack’s 8-5 victory again Louisiana Tech on Friday by allowing one hit in 1 2/3 innings of relief.

Tinlin was also called on in the second game of a doubleheader sweep of Louisiana Tech on Saturday in Ruston. He pitched a hitless final inning in relief of Derek Achelpohl in the Pack’s 4-1 win.

Tinlin now leads the Pack with a 2.84 earned run average to go along with his 1-0 record and four saves.

The Pack opens a four-game home series against Hawaii on Thursday.
