David Kent Moorehouse

Memorial services will take place Sunday for David Kent Moorehouse, who died Feb. 16, 2005, at Washoe Medical Center in Reno, Nev. He was 70.

David was born July 3,1934, in Colorado and was an 11-year resident of South Lake Tahoe. Before retirement he was a manager with the National Park Service and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved music and was a great guitar player. He was also an artist and liked to write and do woodworking.

He is survived by his children, Denver, Cheryl, David and Theresa; sisters, Beverly, Joelyn, Sunny and Adrienne; and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dixon.



Memorial services will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday in the McFarlane Mortuary Chapel, 887 Emerald Bay Road.
