Death Notice: Scott Ryan Beasley
Scott Ryan Beasley passed away unexpectedly at Barton Memorial Hospital on Aug. 29. He was 54.
Beasley was born in Denver, Colo., and raised in Aurora, Colo., until his move to South Lake Tahoe in 1975. He was known for his stamina and endurance, both on the golf course and cross country ski trails. His love for animals goes without saying.
Beasley is survived by his mother, Katherine Beasley; the love of his life and constant companion, Kathi Reynolds of Zephyr Heights; brother Gary Beasley and niece Valerie of Bethesda, Md. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Beasley.
A celebration of life will be held on Sept. 30 at the Elk Point beach next to Nevada Beach at 1 p.m. It would have been Beasley’s 55th birthday.
