Death notice: WIlma "Maxine" Adcock

Wilma “Maxine” Adcock, 68, died April 2, 2010. She was born in Safford, Ariz., on Nov. 10, 1941, to Pless and Ada Barry.

Adcock was a resident of Lake Tahoe for 42 years. She worked in the casino industry for 20 years and local retail until retirement.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jim Adcock, and daughter Janine Adcock of Sacramento. Adcock is also survived by four sisters, one brother, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. May 1 at the Adcock home at 2693 Hank Monk Ave., South Lake Tahoe.
