Dedication for city employee
A dedication naming a Lake Tahoe Airport picnic area after 23-year South Lake Tahoe city employee John Kolesar will be held at the airport 2 p.m. Wednesday.
The mechanic died in May, so the airport crew wanted to do something special to honor his memory.
Before a two-year stint at the airport, Kolesar spent 19 years with the city fire department as a mechanic.
