Democrats set movie night at annual dinner

Douglas County Democratic Central Committee’s annual Keep Nevada Blue Dinner, “Sweet Repeats in 2012,” features Movie Night with President Obama, Celebrating the Unions of America.

The event is set for March 24 at the Carson Valley Inn in Minden. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for the no-host bar, silent auction preview and raffle, and dinner starts at 7 p.m.

Special guests include Mark Nichols, who is with President Barack Obama’s Washington, D.C., team, state treasurer Kate Marshall and Nevada state party chair Roberta Lange.

Cost is $65 per person or a table of 10 for $600. Meal choices are prime rib, chicken or vegetarian entree. Information and RSVP, Katherine Winans, jkw@gbis.com or 267-0539.
