Diabetes group to hold potluck

Provided to the Tribune

All teens face challenges and have to make decisions about dating, driving and alcohol, among other things. Teens with diabetes face the same choices as their friends, but having diabetes complicates the choices. The Teen Diabetes Support Group provides a supportive, no- hassle environment for learning and sharing.

Barton Memorial Hospital Diabetes Educational Services will host a special Fun Beach Barbecue Bash & Potluck from 5 p.m. to sunset July 10 at Camp Richardson beach. The event is for teens ages 12 to 19 and their immediate family. Teens may bring a friend.

Hamburgers, hot dogs and sodas will be provided. Each family is asked to bring a potluck dish. Reservations are required; call Vicki at (530) 543-5548 by Friday.
