At 8,540 feet you are presented with one of the most spectacular 360 degree views in the world. East, you see pure desert and the Washoe Valley at your feet. North, you see magnificent mountains. Southwest, you see fabulous views of Lake Tahoe. Your pulse rises. You take a deep breath and push off. Brilliant sun . . . crisp, fresh air . . . incredible snow . . . and breathtaking views as you go up and down the mountain all day. This is freedom. This is Diamond Peak!

The resort’s classic design offers terrain to encourage beginners and challenge the best. There are 30 runs, plus open glades and tree skiing areas. The 655 skiable acres are rated 18% beginner, 46% intermediate and 36% advanced. The base elevation of the mountain is 6,700 feet and the summit is 8,540 feet, making for a vertical drop of 1,840 feet. The longest run is 2.5 miles.

Diamond Peak’s average annual snowfall is 350 inches and the resort has the snowmaking capacity to cover 75% of its runs, insuring excellent snow conditions all season.

From San Francisco or Sacramento: Take I-80 East to Truckee. Take HWY 267 exit to North Shore Lake Tahoe. At HWY 28 junction, turn east to Incline Village. Turn left on Country Club Drive. Take Ski Way to the top.

From Reno / Carson City / South Lake Tahoe: Take HWY 431 or US 50 & HWY 28 to Incline Village, NV. Turn on Country Club Drive. Take Ski Way to the top.
