Diving contest featured at pool party

Teens should grab their suit and towel because the South Lake Tahoe Parks and Recreation is having a pool party and dance for Teens Night Out on May 11. The pool will be open from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and will feature a diving contest for prizes and coin dive.

All middle school students with an I.D. card are invited to enjoy swimming, basketball, table games, music and dancing. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for swimming, basketball and games with music and dancing from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Participants must be picked up by 9:30 p.m.

Admission is $4 per person and participants should bring money for soda, candy and glow sticks. For more information call (530) 542-6056 or visit the Recreation and Swim Pool Complex at 1180 Rufus Allen Blvd.
