Doctor to discuss women’s health

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Join Dr. Allison Steinmetz from Barton Internal Medicine as she discusses perimenopause, which is the process of change that leads up to menopause.

Steinmetz will lead the next Barton Health & Wellness Lecture from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Oct. 26 at the Lake Tahoe Community College Board Room at 1 College Drive.

She will provide different remedy options, both natural and hormonal for menopause which is a natural part of growing older for women.



This lecture is part of the 2011 Barton Health & Wellness Lecture Series. Those who attended any four of Barton’s 2011 wellness lectures and received an attendance punch card will be entered to win a 2011/2012 season pass to a Lake Tahoe ski/snowboard resort or other prizes.

Prizes will be drawn November 2011.
