Doctor to offer guidance for supporting cancer victims

Dr. Catherine Aisner will speak about how to support and comfort those with cancer Tuesday at the South Lake Tahoe library.

Aisner was invited to speak by Cancer Support for Women of South Lake Tahoe, a group that offers support for women with all types of cancer. Aisner will discuss how to find the right things to say and ways to offer comfort to those with cancer.

The meeting will be held from 6:15-8 p.m. at the El Dorado County Library, 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd. Refreshments will be provided.
